To submit a referral, you will need to access the Honor Code Referral Organization on Blackboard through MyMasonPortal. Video instructions are available here (closed captioning is included):
After accessing Blackboard with your Mason net ID and password, please click the tab for Organizations and search for the Honor Code Referral organization. You will need to enroll in the organization. At this site you will find a section for downloadable forms. Please download the Academic Integrity Referral form and the Professor Sanction Recommendation form to your computer. The referring party (Faculty/Staff) must submit a completed Academic Integrity Referral Form in addition to a Professor Sanction Recommendation form. Students who are initiating the process do not need to complete a sanction recommendation form, but will need to complete the Academic Integrity Referral form. In addition, you will need to submit information regarding the alleged act as well as a copy of the course syllabus to assist the Honor Committee in understanding the nature of the alleged violation. After you have logged into Blackboard and accessed the organization, you will find a brief video tutorial that will walk you through how to access and submit a referral.
