HC application form

  • The Honor Committee welcomes George Mason faculty, administrative faculty with a minimum of a master's degree, and students who meet the criteria to apply. Students must have at least a 2.66 GPA (for Undergraduate students) or a 3.00 GPA (for graduate students). Students must not have any violations of the Honor Code or the Code of Student Conduct. Please fill out the attached form and submit it. Take note that you will need to upload a personal statement as well as provide a faculty recommendation, which can be sent to our office at oai@gmu.edu.
  • Submit a one-page statement answering the following*: Why you want to serve on the Honor Committee? What do you think the role of the Honor Committee is at George Mason? How will you help to educate the campus community about academic integrity?
  • Applications will not be reviewed until the faculty recommendation has been sent to oai@gmu.edu. The recommendation needs to be sent from an academic email address (i.e. ".edu"). Make sure the faculty person knows to put your in the subject line of their email.
  • Please put your name in this field. By doing so, you are certifying that the information you have submitted is true and correct. Additionally, you are authorizing the Office of Academic Integrity to conduct a GPA and conduct record verification.
